It's Okay I'll Clean Up - Sketch Speed Draw

So.. It came up in conversation with my friend where she basically realized I've never talked about my ships, so she wouldn't stop asking  ( and by asking, basically verbal assault ) until I gave in.  I kept out of the hairy mess of romance but I confess.. My biggest ship is Twirare.  Twilight's book nerdy studying obsessive ways just go so well with Rarity's fashionable, nurturing, and purely motherly personality.  So here it is - my fists are up, who's gonna fight me?

Rarity walked in on a familiar sight, her alicorn friend slumped over a messy pile of books, barely awake as she idly flipped over to the next page.  "Oh darling, it's past midnight... You really shouldn't push yourself like this.." Rarity cooed out, breaking the silence and the apparent spell Twilight was under as her eyes tore themselves from the pages to look at her with blurring vision. 

"Huh.. Oh.. Yeah the uhm.. The scarfs are by the.. Toilet brush.." She mumbled out before looking back down at her current subject of obsession.

Rarity sighed as she pranced over, picking up the books placed about the dizzying Twilight with a gentle light of blue magic.  "This 'really' isn't the best behavior of a princess, now is it?  You have to take your health in mind! If you get sick and can't do your duties - now who will? Hm? Of course you wouldn't expect anyone else to because just you being you!  Mind so far in the books, you'd just try and do it yourself thinking that you have to and Spike would come in and just-" Rarity paused her nurturing spurred nagging to a silence as Twilight's face fell forward into the pages and a soft snore could be heard between the ruffle of paper.

Rarity stared for a moment before giving her sour expression a small smile, as much as she nagged and whined, Rarity only did it in love - and she really did love.. "Ahem" Rarity cleared her throat and mind as she lifted Twilight's head ever so gently and slipped the book out from under her.  In that moment though Twilight moved and broke the magic holding her up and she quickly dropped on to Rarity, pushing the white mare over onto her side as the sleeping alicorn embraced the warmest, softest, thing close to her, Rarity.

In silence, Rarity stared down at Twilight, and something stirred in her heart.  "Such a busy bee.." She chuckled to herself as she gently touched her muzzle to the top of Twi's head, much how a mother would nuzzle her sleeping foal, but this foal was a full grown alicorn who never outgrew certain habits..

"Sleep, darling.. It's okay, I'll clean up."
